Alpha Chapter was founded at Kean University in Union, New Jersey on December 1, 1975 by 17 Founding Mothers.
Epsilon Gamma Chapter was founded at University of Illinois at Chicago on April 26, 2009 by 6 Founding Sisters.

TRADITIONS
Sisters of Lambda Theta Alpha have multiple hand signs and a traditional call. LTA does not step. We stroll and salute. LTA is the ONLY sorority that salutes.
